Our review methodology
How listings get on this site, how they get a score, and how we keep them honest.
Where the facts come from
Every listing starts from facts: the provider's name, official website, the category it belongs in, and any details a provider publishes about itself. We take those facts from the provider's own channels - its website, documentation and public announcements - rather than copying another directory's write-up. The descriptions you read are written by us, in our own words.
Ratings are editorial
The score next to a listing is an editorial rating - our considered opinion, not a number a provider can buy. It reflects how a service fits the needs of adult-site operators: relevance to the category, what it offers, and how it compares with the alternatives we cover. Where readers leave their own reviews, those are shown separately from the editorial score.
Comparisons
Our head-to-head comparisons pair the top-rated providers within a category. They put ratings, key facts and tags side by side so you can weigh two options at a glance - they are not an exhaustive ranking of every possible pairing.
Affiliate links are disclosed
Many outbound links are affiliate links, and some listings are paid placements. Both are disclosed plainly - paid placements carry a visible badge, and every page links to how we make money. Commission never decides whether a provider is listed or how we rate it.
Re-reviewed over time
Services change - they add features, change terms, or shut down. We revisit listings periodically and update the facts, descriptions and ratings as things move. If you spot something out of date or incorrect, tell us through our contact and abuse channel and we'll look into it.
