Ahrefs is the closest thing the SEO industry has to a single source of truth. Its backlink index is vast and updated fast, making it genuinely useful for adult operators doing competitor link analysis - mapping tube and network backlink profiles, spotting link-building patterns in high-competition niches, and finding keyword gaps between your directory and a rival's traffic. The rank tracker handles niche adult queries without redacting them, and the site audit surfaces crawl issues at scale.

The price is real - plans start north of $100/month - but if you operate more than one property or run any kind of agency-side work, the ROI is difficult to argue with.
